SSC CGL — common questions

How many hours a day should I study for SSC CGL?

There is no single right number. What matters is a routine you can repeat every day. The plan above works from 1 to 12 hours a day and keeps revision time fixed, so you can start with what you can manage and add more later.

Which section should I start with?

Start each day with the section you find hardest, while your focus is fresh. Many aspirants put Quant first and keep General Awareness as a short daily habit. The plan rotates all four sections so none is skipped for a whole week.

How many mock tests should I take before the exam?

Take a full mock at least once a week, and more often in the last month. A mock is only useful if you go back to it afterwards, so the plan keeps time aside on Day 7 for analysis.

Can I make mock tests from my own notes?

Yes. In the Aspirant Pro app you can photograph a chapter or pick a PDF and get a timed practice test built from it, with optional negative marking and a chapter-wise score. AI mock tests need sign-in and a paid plan — see Pricing.

Is this study plan free?

Yes. The plan is made inside your browser — no sign-up, and nothing you enter is saved or sent. Planning, reminders, focus timer and streaks in the app are free too.
