Who bills you
1. All payments go through Google Play
Aspirant Pro subscriptions are sold and billed by Google Play. We do not take payments directly, we never see your card details, and we cannot charge or refund your card ourselves. Google Play is the merchant of record for your purchase, and applicable taxes are handled by Google at checkout.
Because of this, cancellations and refunds follow Google Play's process, described below. If something has gone wrong, write to us anyway — see section 7.
Plans
2. What you are subscribing to
Every paid plan gives the same app; they differ mainly in how many AI mock tests you can generate each month. The free tier cannot generate AI mock tests, though free users can sit papers a host sets in an Exam Buddies room.
- Small — 10 AI mock tests a month
- Pro — 30 a month, billed monthly or yearly
- Power — 60 a month
The current price of each plan is always shown in the app before you buy. Retaking a test you already generated does not use your monthly quota.
Renewal
3. Subscriptions renew automatically
All plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel them. Google Play charges the payment method on your Google account and notifies you of upcoming renewals and price changes.
To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Cancelling
4. How to cancel
Cancellation happens in Google Play, not inside Aspirant Pro — Google does not allow apps to cancel subscriptions on your behalf.
- Open the Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select Aspirant Pro, then tap Cancel subscription.
You can also manage it at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
Cancelling does not end your access straight away. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. If you cancel on the 30th and your period runs to the 10th, you keep everything until the 10th.
After it ends
5. What happens to your mock tests
When a subscription actually ends — not when you cancel it — a 30-day window begins:
- Mock tests you already generated stay available to retake.
- Your generated question banks are kept.
- New tests cannot be generated — that needs an active plan.
After those 30 days the generated question banks are deleted. The app shows you the exact date well before it happens. Resubscribing at any point during the 30 days restores full access; resubscribing afterwards gives you a working plan again, but the deleted banks cannot be recovered.
The rest of the app — your planner, tasks, calendar, streaks and focus timer — is stored on your device and is not affected by a subscription ending.
Refunds
6. Refunds
- Within 48 hours of purchase, you can request a refund yourself directly through Google Play. This is Google's standard self-service window and is the fastest route.
- After 48 hours, Google Play no longer offers self-service refunds. Write to us and we will look at your case individually — for example if you were charged after cancelling, charged twice, or the feature did not work for you.
- We cannot process a refund outside Google Play. Where a refund is appropriate we request it through Google on your behalf; the final decision and the transfer itself rest with Google.
- If a refund is issued, access to paid features ends immediately.
To request a refund within the 48-hour window, see Google Play's refund guide. Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under applicable consumer law in your country.
Switching plans
7. Changing your plan
Moving to a larger plan takes effect immediately. Google Play credits the unused part of your current plan against the new one, so you pay only the difference.
Moving to a smaller plan takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep the larger plan you have already paid for until then, and the smaller plan starts at the next renewal.
Deleting your account
8. Deleting data is not cancelling
Deleting your Aspirant Pro account removes your data from our servers, but it does not cancel your Google Play subscription — Google would keep billing you. Always cancel in Google Play separately, using the steps in section 4.
Contact
9. Questions about a charge
Email [email protected] with the Google Play order number from your purchase receipt and a short description of the problem. Subscribers can also raise an issue from inside the app: Settings → Help & Support → Report an issue, which attaches a screenshot and your app version automatically and gives you a ticket number.
